Orientation

Most of the time in Parangtritis was spent sitting in a circle doing activities or taking notes.  I don't have a lot of pictures of this time, but I have a ton of notes.  This was an incredibly valuable part of the trip for me as an educator, especially when it came to seeing how tone setting would be established.  If you are interested in the types of conversations we had, please let me know!

Most of our meals in Parangtritis were made by a woman named Ibu Rita and they were fabulous-- check out a picture of one of the lunches.  You will also see a picture of the giant map we gathered around to learn more about Indonesian geography and look at our upcoming path to Sampela.
